I think there was too much of that "I want to be noticed by a boy, how great it would be if this boy would like me back" type stuff that is in 9/10 books I've read. Perfect for fans of Raina Telgemeier and Jennifer L. Not too moving, a bit inappropriate for a young child, but not horrible. I don't usually read books that have that many pictures, but I thought the cover looked pretty nice, and the back summary seemed all right. This book was sold at the Scholastic Book Fair at my school.
